Hockley Valley brought back online and migrated to the cloud in less than 1 day with the help of Office 365, the cloud and the experts at 360 Visibility
Email is the lifeblood of any service business. Not being able to send or receive emails for even an hour can mean the difference between a sale and your prospect going to a competitor. For Hockley Valley, most recently this lasted 3 excruciating days.
Hockley Valley Resort, a picturesque year-round resort destination, began experiencing problems with their on-premises Exchange server approximately 1 month ago and more recently over a three-day period was unable to send or receive emails critical to their business operation. The Resort had turned to Microsoft for support 1 month ago and after some time, Microsoft was able to help resolve issues only to find service interruptions randomly occurred repeatedly afterwards. With this recent interruption, loosing sales by the minute, Hockley Valley Resort contacted 360 Visibility whom they’ve worked with in the past for help.
“I just want this email nightmare to be over.”
360 Visibility leapt to the occasion and brought email service online within a few hours from the initial contact with Hockley by migrating all users from their Exchange server to Office 365 in the cloud. Critical messages are now flowing through to key email accounts including sales, accounting, and other teams.
The cloud saved their business and they no longer have to worry about costly on-premises servers. Having users transitioned to the cloud was seamless. Each user added their email accounts to their mobile phones, accessed their online mailbox using the Outlook Web App, and were off to the races conducting business as usual. All in the matter of four hours.
With 360 Visibility’s support, old data from the previous environment will be migrated to the cloud, however, the flow of communication is now wide open between their customers and staff, which was our first priority.
“Making sure Hockley Valley Resort was back online, permanently, as quickly as possible was our #1 priority. Migrating to Office 365 was the only natural solution, and doing it within 4 hours was life-saving to Hockley.”
