Dynamics GP 2018 R2 Release Date: Early October 2018
With Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 R2 scheduled to be released in early October of 2018, we decided to summarize the new features and improvements expected in the latest release. These are proposed features from members of the Dynamics GP Community and the Dynamics GP Roadmap. The final feature list will be made official later in September.
Proposed Dynamics GP 2018 R2 New Features
- Monthly recurring batches get a new “use last day of the month” option
- Enhancements to Inventory HITB to help with performance by excluding items with no quantity or no value
- New option in Posting Setup on “Allow Transaction Posting” to then mark “Post Thru GL”. This won’t be available on all options, but most of them
- Purchasing All-in-One view will display vendor document number
- Visual cues will be available for vendor hold status
- A new option will be added to hide inactive cheque books in lookups
- Email support is being added for Purchase Order “Other” form
- SOP Navigation list option to print documents in Originating currency now not just Functional
- Email customer statements right from the customer card
- New option in System Preferences to hide Business Analyzer for all users – very, very few people use Business Analyzer
- Password length will be increasing to 21 characters to accommodate those clients who require complex passwords
- Sales Transaction approval workflow
