To address these challenges, Wasteco partnered with 360 Visibility, a Microsoft Cloud Services Partner, for comprehensive cloud advisory and cloud security administration support. The project involved migrating Wasteco’s data center services from Rogers to the Microsoft Azure Cloud, a move that would provide the necessary flexibility, security, and performance management for their operations.
360 Visibility conducted a thorough assessment of Wasteco’s existing Azure Cloud usage and identified inefficiencies in resource allocation. By optimizing these resources and eliminating services that did not support Wasteco’s sustainability mandates, 360 Visibility was able to realize significant cost savings for Wasteco. These savings were then reinvested into enhancing Wasteco’s Cloud Security and Disaster Recovery capabilities, including the implementation of Microsoft Defender Endpoint Threat Protection and Azure Site Recovery. This strategic approach ensured that Wasteco’s IT infrastructure was not only more secure but also more aligned with their long-term sustainability goals.
