To address this need, Liftow implemented Microsoft SharePoint as a basic document repository. As staff added more information, the system grew organically without any defined structure, and the information became hard to find.

Liftow started researching SharePoint, and realized it has many capabilities beyond document storage that were not being utilized. SharePoint is a full document management software, which meant employees could use the document management capabilities to ease how the team stores documents and finds them whenever needed.

Comprehensive SharePoint Optimization and Intranet Implementation

To address Liftow’s document management challenges and underutilization of SharePoint, 360 Visibility collaborated closely with the Liftow team to develop a comprehensive solution. This involved rebuilding the existing SharePoint setup and transforming it into a robust, user-friendly intranet site that would serve as a central hub for all employees.

360 Visibility designed a cloud-based SharePoint intranet site, branded with Liftow’s corporate style and colors, to ensure consistency and ease of use. The new intranet featured an intuitive navigation structure, making it simple for employees to locate key information, documents, and reports. The inclusion of departmental sites allowed each business area to manage and share their specific news, events, projects, and documents, fostering better communication and self-service among employees.

The solution included a Document Center equipped with a powerful search engine, enabling staff to quickly find necessary documents, templates, procedures, and presentations. Additionally, a centralized Report Center was implemented, granting role-based access to critical reports and dashboards, significantly improving document management efficiency and reducing time spent searching for information. To further streamline operations, 360 Visibility incorporated an interactive phone directory, allowing employees to easily find the right contacts across all Liftow sites and departments. SharePoint’s collaboration and automation features were leveraged to reduce manual labor, automate repetitive tasks, and improve overall efficiency. Mobile accessibility ensured that team members could collaborate and access information from anywhere, reducing the need for travel and enhancing productivity.
